Heyo! I'm Chris, known online as Cheeseworks, and I'm a queer 2X-year-old content creator and self-taught programmer. Welcome to my silly GitHub profile! Here you will find loads of interesting hobby projects of mine, feel free to explore!
JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, C++, CMake
When I was a 13-year-old kid, I wanted to learn how to write my own Discord bot. After watching countless tutorials on YouTube, I started making a few very experimental bots, mainly tailored for moderation. This is what inspired me to continue programming, and to this day I still have some Discord bots operating in public Discord servers.
A feature-rich, general purpose Discord bot! Currently a work-in-progress, but already operates at full capacity in a few public servers of my own. Also has variants planned such as BloqGo.
An experimental, blazing-fast custom bot for Cubic Studios's Discord server for auto-moderation and other utilities.
C++, CMake
My favorite passion projects I've worked on are mods made using the wonderful Geode SDK framework, which has done a ton to facilitate modding for Geometry Dash and therefore, some of my greatest personal work!
A massive troll mod menu jam-packed with dozens of troll features to make your usual GD gameplay just a little more interesting to play... Truly an evil masterpiece.
A growing platform for players to advertise and grow their GD levels to tons of potential new players! Advertise any level ya want, and with a good enough ad, get dozens of new players to try out your levels!
A platform for users to leave feedback on mods directly through in-game UI. Utilized to its full potential by players and mod developers alike.
Lua
Not much at the moment, but I'm happy to learn more about developing addons for Gmod!
A simple addon to fix weld and rope limits being broken on servers for some reason. Include an interface inside the spawnmenu for server admins to easily set constraint variables.
Go
Aside from the Discord bot servers, I've written a bunch of HTTP servers for my Geode mods, among other stuff...
The bridge between the Ferry client and the Cloudflare R2 object storage containing players' settings data. Uses Argon for authorization of players' accounts, no Geometry Dash account tokens or credentials are processed or stored!
The dashboard for mod developers to upload personal branding images to be displayed on the in-game Geode UI of their mods through the Mod Developer Branding mod. Uses GitHub's OAuth for authorization, no account credentials are processed or stored!
Much like with other creative work, I limit my use of AI in programming projects to only help with boosting productivity. I do not consent to my code or any of my work being used to train generative AI. On that note, using snippets of my code in your projects is fine, but make sure to leave credit if it's a significant amount.
