Exynos 7870 Revived is an active community organization dedicated to reviving, maintaining, and updating smartphones powered by the Samsung Exynos 7870 SoC. We develop and distribute clean LineageOS 19.1 (Android 12L) ROMs, our custom ZephyrKernel, updated vendor HALs, and an automated OTA update network.

The organization maintains ZephyrKernel (android_kernel_samsung_exynos7870), a unified Linux 3.18 kernel for all Exynos 7870 devices.
Key highlights:
- Unified defconfigs for all 9 models reporting
CONFIG_LOCALVERSION="-ZephyrKernel". - Fixed FIMC-IS vendor camera driver bindings and regional DTB handling.
- Optimized CPU/GPU frequency scaling governors and interactive tuning.
- Micro-USB OTG port fallback logic for devices without Type-C controllers.
Over-The-Air updates are fully integrated into our build system via universal7870-common:

The Updater app notifies users directly on their device.
