What changed

Updates the documentation and tool descriptions from #3357 to use Web Search consistently. The tool description now reads:

Search the web to retrieve real-time search results, including relevant website URLs, titles, descriptions, and related questions based on a given query.

The README describes Account, Scraper API, and Web Search through their tool names, parameters, defaults, and examples. Search inputs are labeled Search Query, with separate region, language, and page controls. This patch preserves tool IDs, SDK dependencies, defaults, request behavior, and workflow compatibility.

Required checks

  • I have read and followed the Marketplace submission requirements.
  • I have read and comply with the Plugin Developer Agreement.
  • I tested this plugin on Dify Community Edition and Dify Cloud, or documented any limitation below.
  • The package contains only files needed at runtime.
  • The package does not contain secrets, local credentials, .env files, .git directories, virtual environments, caches, logs, or IDE files.
  • The package does not contain executables or bundled binaries.
  • The plugin README includes setup steps, usage instructions, required credentials, connection requirements, and the source repository link.
  • The plugin includes PRIVACY.md, and manifest.yaml references it.
  • All user-facing text is primarily in English.

Security and privacy notes

The existing Scraper API tool supports fetching user-selected URLs, browser rendering, screenshots, and proxy/geographic routing through the managed MrScraper service. Optional target headers, cookies, and proxy credentials can contain sensitive authentication or location information. These capabilities and network permissions are unchanged in this documentation patch.

Provider credentials remain separate from tool parameters. Account output excludes API keys and billing identifiers. The plugin sanitizes configured credentials in reported errors and does not request Dify storage permissions or execute user-provided code, shell commands, or SQL. The privacy policy continues to describe data sent to MrScraper and retention responsibilities.

Local validation

  • uv run pytest: 36 passed.
  • uv run ruff check . and uv run ruff format --check .: passed.
  • uv lock --check --offline: passed.
  • Official Dify Plugin CLI 0.6.11 packaging: passed.
  • Marketplace offline package validator: zero blocking failures and zero check execution failures.
  • Inspected the packaged README, privacy policy, tool descriptions, manifest version, and file allowlist.

Automated tests use the installed SDK with mocked HTTP transport. Validator advisories cover sanitized credential handling and SDK-owned network hosts; the offline run skips dependency vulnerability lookup. Live Dify Cloud and Community UI workflows were not exercised for this text-only patch.

Reviewer notes

This PR adds only mrscraper/mrscraper-0.1.1.difypkg, as required for marketplace version updates. There are no breaking changes from 0.1.0. Web Search retains the SDK default raw=true; structured JSON requires raw=false and format=json.

@crazywoola, please review this documentation and tool-description update for the MrScraper integration.

@crazywoola, please review this MrScraper documentation patch when you have time. It follows #3357 and updates Web Search descriptions, input labels, and packaged documentation while preserving the three tool IDs and their behavior. All 36 adapter tests passed; the official CLI packaged v0.1.1, and the marketplace offline validator reported zero blocking failures. This PR adds only the new package.

Pre Check Plugin and PR Risk Label passed for this revision. Inspected the submitted package, documentation and relevant source: this is a non-draft plugin submission with no Web3 functionality identified. This is an eligibility review, not a comprehensive security audit.
