βΉ Environment / Computer Info
- Spotify version: 1.3.6.1921 (Windows 64-bit)
- Spicetify version: v2.46.4
- OS: Windows
- Theme: Comfy; extensions installed via Marketplace
π Description
Extensions that add items with Spicetify.ContextMenu.Item don't show up in the menu that opens when right-clicking the song title in the player bar (bottom left, now playing widget).
Steps to reproduce:
Install an extension that adds context menu items, e.g. "Copy to Clipboard" by pnthach95 from Marketplace.
Right-click a song in a playlist. The extension's items appear (Copy Text, Copy Song & Artist names, etc.).
Right-click the song title in the player bar. The menu opens normally, but none of the extension's items appear.
Expected: the same extension items appear in both menus.
Actual: no extension items in the player bar menu. Artist menus and playlist song menus work fine.
Notes:
No related errors in the DevTools console.
I tested a patched copy of the extension that waits for Spicetify to finish loading, registers each item separately, and uses the currently playing track if the menu sends no URI. It behaves the same, so the player bar menu seems not to be covered by the context menu hook.
